scanned forms and populating on screen

Hi, I am considering upgrading my acrobat to ver8 pro, as I have heard you can populate scanned forms on screen. Is this true? if so how easy is it to do? Is there a tutorial anywhere on line?

You can if you add the form fields using the "Form Tool" in Acrobat or use the form objects in LiveCycle Designer.

The home page for this site inlcude video tutorials for creating forms using either product.
