Search multiply .pdf-files in Russian

I have installed Adobe Reader X 10.0.1
It has advanced search command, where I can specify searching a small group (12 000) OCR-ed .pdf-files.
The search filter performs well with English keywords, but it does not search Russian keywords.

I'm curious what is wrong:
- ifilter (it must be 6.0 if I guess right from Adobe's site) cannot work with russian?
- something wrong with Win 7 indexing (I use English version, but it searches .doc-files for russian keywords properly)
- is there a solution?

In Acrobat Pro you can change the document language File > Properties (click Advanced), but this can not be changed in Reader. It has to be set by the author of the PDF.

Thanks KellyMcC.
Does not solve my problem - working with thousands of files.
Adobe soft is not for my task. I solved it with dtSearch commercial soft.

P.S. This is for other users, to save them time.

But I'll check for myself in a week - just curious about Adobe's policy and openness.

Peter,

So glad you found a solution. Adobe doesn't mind users sharing third party products that get results for them :)

To Kelly McCathran.
You shamed me for my cynicism. Thanks again.
