I have been unsuccessful searching in Adobe 6 Standard for text with quotes around it (atty request). It works in Adobe 8. Is this a known bug?

Did you try to select Match Exact word or phrase in the Return results containing drop down menu in Acrobat Search? Quotes should be returned as part of the search results.
