I'm working on a G5 Mac with an OSX (10.4.9) operating system. I have a client that sent me a 358 page pdf document in English that he want translated into Portuguese. In Acrobat 8 can I cut and paste to replace the English text with the translation and save it as a revised or new pdf? I'm presently using Acrobat 6 and am at a total loss as what I should do. Please help! Thanks.

Acrobat Standard 6.0.5, Macintosh

Ideally you would be best off obtaining the native document prior to conversion to PDF and translate it in the authoring program, then recreate a PDF document. there really is no way in Acrobat to convert all the copy from one language to another.
