Selecting and Printing sections of a pdf

I am trying to find a way to select multiple sections within a pdf, then print only those sections together.

Sort of like selecting 10 discontiguous paragraphs in a 200 paragraph document, then printing just those 10 paragraphs.

I playing with commenting and bookmarks, but they dan't seem to do exactly what I am looking for.

Is there some way to select a paragraph (or body of text), then mark it for later printing?

Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

Something to try. Not fancy; but, it is functional.

First.
Edit > Preferences > select Category "Commenting"
In the Commenting pane, check the entry "Copy selected text into Highlight, Cross-out, and Underline comment pop-ups"
Click OK.

Second.
Open the PDF file.
Select the Highlight Text Tool.
Using this tool, select and highlight text of interest.

Locate and select the "Summarize Comments" selection from the menu drop-downs.
In the dialog that shows options, select "Comments only".
Look over the dialog to make any other desired configuration changes.
Click the appropriate button to create a PDF summary.

Third.
Save the PDF that is created.

Fourth.
Use Save As to create a *.txt file.

Fifth.
Open the text file. Peform any desired clean up. Save. Print.

Thanks for the response, we are definately going to give this a try for a few days and see if it will work. This is something that we will be doing 10-20 times per day, every day on documents that are 5-200 pages long. So the final solution may need to be a little more streamlined and integrated.

You are correct, it's not pretty, it is however, a great start and I appreciate the effort and quick response.

One follow-up question....I did download a 9.0 trial today. Is there any new functionality that may work better in 9.0?

Thanks again for your help.

Your welcome,
In terms of what I described, 7 - 8 - 9 are essentially the same (e.g., summarize comments, etc.)
However, Acrobat JavaScript may afford some relief.

Alas, I'm still not versed in Acrobat JavaScript.
But, I do enjoy becoming aware of the "possibilities" so I lurk about the JavaScript Forum .To the point.
I think what Thom Parker posted here:

may be of interest to you.

Just a thought, if you all wrangle PDFs lots 'n lots then having someone in-house well versed in Acrobat JavaScript may be a resource saver.

If such is the case,
Thom has a subscription source here: http://www.pdfscripting.com that you might find useful.

Some other resources:
Look through the Learning Center here at AUC. There is a fair dinkum of javascript related information available.
The JavaScript Forum is another excellent resource and has some very sharp contributors.

Visit:
OnDemand Seminars
Over 300 recorded eSeminars available. Upper right of list has fields that let you filter.
Each link takes you to an Adobe ID sign in. Then the Acrobat Connect Add-in page appears. If you don't have the add-in a dialog is presented - download/install the add-in. The add-in hooks you up with the recorded Connect Pro session.
Note: Some links put you into a Connect Pro Login page. So, a dead-end. But that's being worked on I believe.

Just a closing thought. Annotations (Comments & Markup) can be exported to FDF.
So, something that can shake 'n bake FDF programmatically might be helpful (?).
