Pleading for help on a deadline. I have a word doc that was converted to an Adobe PDF. All I need to do is change 2 dates on it. It is an offer letter (I'm in HR) and I can't share the document as it's confidential.
I'm using adobe Acrobat Pro, ver 8.1.2
Can anyone help me with this? Adobe is so unlike Word that I have a LOT of trouble using it. Is it even possible to do what I want with this document? I am having zero luck, trying different menus, etc - not finding answers.
Under Properties, it's an "image" and there is No security on it. Presumably, changing the document is allowed, I just don't have a clue how to do it.
please help. Contact me directly at mdiaz at ironwoodpharma.com for my phone number if that's faster than you doing a lot of typing.
Please help.... thanks.

If the dates are text, then you can change them in Acrobat Pro. Use the "Text Touchup" tool. It's on the advanced editing toolbar on the far right side. It's also on the menu item, "Tools > Advanced Editing > TouchUp Text Tool"However, if the whole file is an image, i.e. it was scanned, there is nothing you can do short of editing it in PhotoShop.
