I do variable pdfs in Acrobat Pro for direct mail/purl campaigns ... I need a spell check option for the variable fields ... does one exist in the program or as a plug-in?
Please advise & thank you!

A spell checker was added to Acrobat 6 for form-filed data only. There are several language dictionaries provided and the means to create/update your own.

However it will not automatically correct spelling mistakes. It's designed to suggest corrections while typing. If you are having issues with your 1:1 mail work I would suggest you scrub your input data.

Even in 2007 GIGO still makes sense.

Thank you Mr. Hanna -
Unfortunately neither suggestions helps me ... we do scrub data prior to merge - and the vdp fields do not get QC'd by the form fill spell check ... I was hoping someone might know of a plug-in that would help with spell checking the client base pdf - as well as - possible review the vdp information used - ???
Thanks for your input - at least you confirm I am not going insane - and the two tools I already use are on the right path.
