Doing a text select regularly crashes 7.0.9 I can't determine a regular pattern, but it does so after I do copy paste routines several times.

I'm on an iMac Core 2 duo, 2 gig of ram. All updates are run. OS 10.4.10

I ran the Detect and Repair and it seemed to have done something, but hasn't stopped the crashes.

May have solved the problem. Since I got this document from someone else, I re-saved it and took out the legacy copies and have not crashed since.
