Is there a way to improve rendering performance when viewing in browser?

When viewing a reader extended & shared review enabled pdf document within IE, I'm finding that it can take almost 30 seconds for the file to render completely. The file is less than 2MB and the download progress goes very quickly (maybe 3 seconds) then it stalls out for up to 25 more seconds while rendering the image and displaying the Shared Review Toolbars. I already have my options set to not display the welcome or connect popups, but it still seems to take an excessive amount of time. We're dealing with 34x36 construction drawings, but it still seems like its taking way to long to render. Is this just a limitation of the in browser plugin or is there an option that could help speed this up? Would a high performance graphics card help? The same document renders in about 5 seconds on the desktop...

My Product Information:
Reader 10.0.1, Windows

When these documents are created do you have Optimize for Fast Web View On? This is in the Distiller Settings in the General tab.

Some users also find turning off Display PDF in Browser will open the file much more quickly. Check out the answer here:

How long does it take to render the document when you open it locally in Reader (not via browser plug-in)?

Also, is there a difference when you close and immediately reopen that browser window?

Thanks for the replies guys. When the document was created, fast web view was enabled. The document renders MUCH faster if opened in the desktop version as opposed to the plug-in version (but that doesn't really help solve our problem). Re-opening the document in browser does not seem to help.

Just for curiosity's sake, how long does it take to open a version which is NOT "optimized for fast web view". It is a known fact that forms are substantially faster not optimized, so there is a possibility that this applies for your documents as well.

I don't think that this has anything to do with fast web view. This problem is specific to Reader X & files that are Reader Extended & Enabled for Shared Review. Regular vanilla pdf files open within the browser very quickly. These tests were all performed with the same READER EXTENDED & SHARED REVIEW ENABLED file:Reader X In Browser (IE, Chrome, etc)
the download progress bar completes then reader stalls out for 10 seconds before starting to display.

Reader X Desktop Client
the file opens quickly with no 10 second delay

Reader 9 In Browser
the file opens quickly with no 10 second delay

Reader 9 Desktop Client
the file opens quickly with no 10 second delay

This seems to be a problem with Reader X & Reader Extended/Shared Review files. I've tried turning off protected mode and messing with fast web view etc with no positive results.
