I am having trouble definitively answering this question. I can find reference to the touchup object tool being available only in the pro versions of previous releases.
 
I need to know if the touchup object tool is available in acrobat x standard.

It's now called the Edit Object tool, and I don't see it mentioned in the Acrobat X Standard help doc, but is is in the Pro help doc.

Why in God's name would Adobe change the NAME of the tool?

What possible reason could there be for this, another example of Adobe's continuing deterioration of consumer user interface?
