Hello all,

My problem is, that when I create a pdf file from a plan created within MapInfo 9.5, using software called EasyPlot, I cannot edit the text within the pdf using the "Touchup Text" tool. We have recently installed Adobe Acrobat v9, prior to this we were on v6 and had no problems with editing, we now receive various warnings relating to rotated text, etc., because Adobe is selecting all text within the document, instead of just the actual line to be edited. Any ideas how we can get around this please? P.S. A text box doesn't fit the bill either, as it appears in red and does not appear to be editable with regard to colour and border style. Any answers gratefully received.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.2, Windows

experiment with this: open the content panel (see content button on navigation pane); expand tree on page of interest, expand one or more text containers; find and select the text of interest (sometimes single letters); hit delete. add text with text box as follows. with select object tool (R) adjust properties of text box: (style: no border; fill: no color, etc.); type some text; select the text with select text tool (V) hit ctrl+E to activate text box text properties; change text properities as desired. with select object tool (R) reposition text box as desired.
