Transfer of "yellow stickies" and other comments to new PDF

Question: (I don't know if this is even feasible). I create documentation manuals in PDF for end users. Many of the "pepper" their documents with yellow stickies and other type of comments. If I release a new version which has updates, deletions, insertions, etc (but is still pretty much the original manual), is there a way that they can export all of their little add-ins to the new PDF.

Thank you for any thoughts you might have. From my perspective there is an export issue, an import issue, a privilege issue, and of course what Adobe software they might have access to.

Many of them resist moving to updated documentation because of this issue

Under the Comments menu there are options to export and import comments.
You can experiment with that and see how it works for your situation.
