Troubleshooting access to embedded file when viewed in full screen

I am wondering if it is possible to access an embedded attachment in full screen mode when viewed in Reader. We have a PDF file that includes a link to download an easier "print ready" version of an otherwise long PDF file. This "print ready" version is an embedded PDF file.

Our clients are using Reader to open the file (in full screen mode). When they click on the link to the attachment - set to view the navigation panel / attachments - nothing happens. The link DOES work when not in full screen mode, however that is not the preferred viewing method.

Any ideas on how to make this work, or a better way to accomplish the goal of having an easy to print version?

Thanks!

Great question!

Yes you can. You need to create a link or button action that uses the Go to a page view Select Action trigger (Actions tab in Button Properties). When you click the Add button, the Create Go to View dialog box opens. Leave the dialog box in place and click your Attachments panel and open the file attachment. Click Set Link in the Create Go to View dialog box.

Save your file and open in Full Screen mode. When you click the button, the file attachment opens while Full Screen mode is still in effect.

If you get stuck, post another question.
