I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 and Reader 9.3 installed, the latter for the specific purpose of opening documents in web sites accessed through Internet Explorer. Reecently when I have attempted to open a PDF File from, for example, a court web site accesed through IE 8 I get the following pop-up message:

"The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view files in a Web Browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Exit and retry."

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Reader 9.3 several times and continue to get this message. I have confirmed "compatibility" with no success. Please advise....thanks.

Joe
