Hi!
 
I realize that I have a conflict by having two Adobe products (Acrobat 8.1.4 and Reader 9.4) in the same computer.
 
How do I perform a "clean" uninstall of of both products? That is, how do I unistall both programs AND the "menu links" in application programs such as IE and Word?

Uninstalling both from control panel in Add/Remove programs will remove the plugins from IE. Word now has its own export to PDF built-in (depending on version) so don't stress if there is pdf options left in word
