I'm using Win98 SE, and was wondering which version is appropriate. I'm using 6.0.5.2006030100 and occasionally get a message that the file was made using a newer version, and may not display correctly.

You are using the latest version for Windows 98SE, however the current version of Acrobat is 8.0.
