Okay, here's the deal:

I scan a document using a Brother MFC-240C machine.

It goes to a PDF file (I think).

But when I try to find it, I can't find my scan documents.

I am using XP.

Help!

Something to try -
.
Go into the software you installed to support the Brother device.
In one of the tabs for one of the dialogs there will be user configuration settings. The software install sets a default path to where scan output is to go. That is were the output (PDF, TIFF, what not) goes.
