Viewing Colour Problems

We have 2 pdfs bith created in the same way, one was created about a week ago,
the pdfs are 5 cols the spot being a dark blue at 70% tint.
The problem we are having is that the tints views totally different on each
document although they are the same colour one looks grey and one views as it should
in blue.
Is there any viewing preferences embeded in the file we can look at to find out.
we have tested cutting and pasting the tint from one pdf to the other and the colour
changes which leads us to believe there is a viewing profile somewhere in the document.
When we print them they both print the same.

thanks in advance

paul

There's a preflight analysis droplet that reports info on all spot color objects, showing their color spaces and plate loads. You can also run any of the droplets and get the full object-by-object tree in the results, so you can poke about and see what's happening on a specific page, or what color intents the PDF has defined.
