When I e-mail a PDF I created most of the time it is blank. (I can see it)

I am a new user and have very simple PDF needs. I can create a PDF from either excel or word and the PDF reads fine to me. When I send it to another person they are unable to read it and they get errors such as An unrecognized token β€˜6d55.Mo6o.42Scu0198re’ was found.” or "unrecognized token 8re was found. This doesn not happen all the time but it happens quite often. What am I doing iincorrectly?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, Windows

Hi Jack,

Are you emailing the PDF? The unrecognized token message means the PDF was corrupted in some way, possible during email transport. You could try to ZIP the PDF and see if that fixes the problem, or post it on-line and provide a link so users could download rather than receive it via email.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri

Hi,

Just post to hope this will be useful. If your files are really corrupt, you may try Advanced PDF Repair at http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ This tool is rather useful in salvaging damaged PDF documents and helps me a lot.
