My IT dept. unexpectedly installed Acrobat X. It's way different. Does anybody know how to turn on the binocular icon that opens the Search window?

Hi Cheryl,

It is under the Edit menu, or you can use Ctrl+F to open the Search dialog.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri

Dmitri,

thank you. That's a big help. Do you know if it's possible to make that an icon on the toolbar? It used to be possible?

Thanks,

Cheryl B

Hi Cheryl,

Put the cursor in the Main toolbar area and right click- in the context menu go to Edit and then select Find. This will add it to the main toolbar area.

Hope this helps,

You can use the "F8" key to restore the toolbar.

You can then go to the "View => Show/Hide => Edit => Advance Search".To restore the magnafying glass for the find button, "View => Show/Hide => Edit => Find".
