I am corel draw using but it simple is a pain working between draw and acrobat. I am looking to buy a cheap graphic editing program of adobe. Maybe an older version of something I can pick up cheap for fast editing. I can only inport jpg and figure if I get something in adobe then work with vector object in acrobat better.

Any advice on what graphic adobe project works best for simple vector art editing?

As "best" is often a function of budget perhaps a look over at this reference may be of some help.

I want to get something adobe so they will talk to each other or work together. I want to be able to my artwork and form lines or boxes in one program then make a form using the acrobats "run form field recognition" feature along with security etc. Or make a form in adobe acrobat and be able to switch art or photos in and out easy.

I make a lot of greeting cards, brochures, name tags etc for clients, then they fill out their own information using adobe reader which is hard enough to make the client happy who want to do their own personalizing due to adobe readers lack of font control.

Anyway the process if very time consuming changing art in and out of the same form. I am trying to look for an easy ways to do this without investing to much more money. When I got acrobat, I had no idea it so very limited and build most for standard typed business forms and is not good for other types of forms. I am looking at plug-ns also.

Live and learn. So if I going to put more money into offering this service then I want to get something adobe to I can work with vector art or better yet make a art and text boxes in adobe photoshop (or what ever) and them turn them over to adobe acrobat.

Thanks for the suggestion but their no point in buying something else that might not take to adobe acrobat when I have costly Corel Draw unless I know it will talk to adobe acrobat. Why I am looking into other adobe products.

sorry, I am getting very frustrated with acrobat and lifecyle. I feel like I am working with my heads tied.
