Why would it be different?

Hi all,

My first post here :-)

Here's the problem. I have Acrobat Professional 7.0 on my Thinkpad and for some reason it now will not display fonts correctly.

If I open a document with Adobe Reader, things display as they should. But in Acrobat Pro 7 the fonts are all different. In some cases the font that is used is so bad that it's difficult to read.

I've been using this for over a year and this problem on occurred about 2 months ago. A setting must've been changed somewhere, but I'm darned if I can find it.

Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks in advance

Perhaps your Preferences settings for fonts are different between Reader and Pro. Check under Edit --> Preferences --> Page Display category and make sure "Use local fonts" is selected under Rendering.
