Windows Explorer (Win7) context menus for .tif missing

This is a head-scratcher. One of my users runs Acrobat Pro 8, and wants to batch-process a bunch of .tif files to .pdf. In Windows Explorer he can right click on a .jpg, .gif, .doc, etc. file and see the option to 'convert to .pdf', but for .tif files this context menu does not appear. Any ideas?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.7, Windows

It appears that Acrobat 9.3.1 is the only version that works with Windows 7. Acrobat 8.2.1 can run on Windows Vista but not Windows 7.

The above is not to say that Acrobat 8 will not run on Windows 7, but Adobe does not support nor did Adobe update version 8 to work on Windows 7. So there are a number of features that might not work or work sporadically.

drag/drop one or more TIFFs to an Acrobat window

also this way: from file menu 'open' (files of type 'all') or 'create pdf > from file' (files of type 'tiff')

Thanks. I was afraid it'd turn out to be an OS compatibility issue. The suggestion to drag and drop into an Acrobat window works like a charm, though, and ought to work until we decide to upgrade. Much appreciated!
