I have read some of the postings with regards to Printer issues, however, I don't know if this one has been covered so far:
Issue is with two users I have here. They are both Printing to an HP LaserJet 2055. They are able to print without any problem with other applications however with PDFs, the Acrobat program sees the printer, you direct it to print, but no print processing is happening.
Direct it to another Printer, it is fine.
The workaround discovered is going into 'properties' of the HP printer, go 'ok' with it and then it will print.
Unfortunately, this isn't a really great solution as we have to do this with every print to this specific printer.
We tried deleting the printer, deleting the printer and the driver local to the machine and no results. We know it isn't the server hosting the printer, as only two out of 5 or 6 people printing to this printer are affected.
Anyone have any ideas what other things we should try?
Are the users having trouble on version 9.4.2 as well? There were many reported printing errors with HP printers, (especially network printers) after the latest update. Adobe posted a patch and some solutions at-
