Running an Adobe Interactive Form on a Tablet

Does anybody know, how to run an interactive form on a new tablet?
Whenver I'll try to open such a form, nothing will be displayed.

It's not working on an iPad, an Playbook using RIM or an Galaxy tab using Android.
It seems, that Adobe reader version is not ready yet on tablets for that. On every Notebook or PC using Windows it's working very well. But which hardware could be better for Adobe forms than a such new tablet. So I don't understand.

Does anybody have an idea on the How or When?

Thaaanks!

Adobe does not make a reader for the iPad, or Android devices. You will need to buy an app for your device that supports PDF forms.

Adobe most certainly *does* make a version of Reader for Android!

However, to work with PDF forms on any mobile device you will need to purchase a third-party app, and we can't promote those by posting links. Search the App Store or Marketplace and you'll find a handful that have the functions you want.

Hello, thanks for your quick answer.
May I ask, why you think that Adobe never will update the Reader for tablets to be able to handle Adobes own interactive forms? Did you get this information directly from Adobe's developers?
Are the forms not flexible enough versus an app?
At each full reader version on a notebook...interactive forms are working. So, at least it seems to be a "small" step to allow this.

Thanks again.

I have an Android device that can only get apps from the B&N store since it is an eReader. It is possible to jail break the device and load a full Android OS onto it and then the Adobe product might work.IMHO: Reader is a free product and Adobe might not want to spend the necessary resources to support so many variations of a product that they are giving away for free.

We do not reveal any details of future software developments to the public, either about what features they will contain or when they will appear.

I did not say that Adobe Reader on Android will *never* have complete support for forms, only that _today_ it does not. You will have to wait and see what happens, but it's not such a small step as forms rely on a lot of other things (like scripting).

If you have a Windows tablet, the best would be Adobe Reader (or Acrobat). For the iPad, the most forms/annotations-capable viewer is Readdle's PDF Expert. I'm not sure about Android.
