Is Acrobat Javascript Console Useless on a MacBook Pro?

Have a brand new Apple MacBook Pro running latest, fully patched version of Snow Leopard 10.6.7.

I'm running Acrobat 10.0.2 for Mac.

I can invoke the javascript console perfectly with Apple's COMMAND-J key-combination, but once in the console I can't run or execute ANY single or multi-line Javascripts because apparently my MacBook Pro, being a laptop, lacks a Numeric Keypad with the Num Pad Enter key.

And Control-ENTER, Shift-ENTER, Option-ENTER and Command-ENTER don't work either.

I can't believe this is a new or unknown problem in the Acrobat Community.

Don't really want to have to buy an external keyboard simply to develop Acrobat Scripts - and especially so for a laptop.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 10.0.2, Macintosh

Unfortunately, that's the way it is, and certainly isn't new. There is a clunky workaround, though, as described here: http://www.khk.net/wordpress/2010/03/23/javascript-console/

See the comments for some other possibilities.
