Hello forum,
when inserting "app.alert("Hello World", 3);" into the " Acrobat JavaScript Console" it just works fine. But when I open the document in "Acrobat Reader"
the screen keeps black, no alert message, and I have to use the "Enter Button" to get the "Pdf-file" running. File properties are set to "full screen" when opening.
Any idea what`s going wrong? Besides this, is there a possibility for having just a short "Pop Up", displaying a message without entering the "OK" button?
Thank you in advance

Martin

This does not appear to be a universal problem to the Windows OS. I would make sure my vedio dirvers were up to date. If that is the problem could you provide more information about about which version of Acrobat/Reader is being used and information about the system's OS, ram memory, and shared vedio memory you are having a problem with

My first guess is a system with minimum memory and a shared system viedo memory. Just not enough resouces to update the display with anoter window.

Are the video drivers up to date?

What vedio card are you using?

Are you using a multi screen display?

Is the PDF in the main screen?
