app.execMenuItem("Save") not functioning

I have a PDF with a "Save" button, which call this javascript function
app.execMenuItem("Save")
. But it is not working. I am using Adobe Professional 8, using LifeCycle Designer 8, target reader will be using Adobe Reader 8.0

Hi yeoyeesoon,

Adobe changed the security restrictions ( tighetended them considerably) for executing Menu Items in Acrobat 8. It is all in the latest JavaScript documentation and here is a Blog entry by Thom Parker discussing it and the implications for PDF forms developers.
