I have a collection of scanned (Tiff) and OCR'd documents. Is there a way to have the OCR auto-populate coding fields in a document management program such as Summation?

Not that I know of. You can howevever run a Script after OCR to collect data from the document and do something with it. If your using a 3rd Party OCR program you'll have to ask that company what's possible.

There's a utility called ALCoder that can automatically extract bibliographic information from documents in databases such as Summation or Concordance and populate them with the data it finds.
