auto-complete off

Hi,
I know it's possible to turn auto-complete feature on/off in Acrobat (Edit -> Preferences -> Forms) but is it possible to turn that feature off for a given field using javascript (so turning this feature on in Acrobat wouldn't apply to this particular field)? If so - how can I achieve that?

Another can not turn off the preference for cache or auto complete of another's Acrobat/Reader installation through JavaScript. But for users with version 7 or above of Acrobat or Reader one can control the auto complete and cache on a PDF level with JavaScript. Look at the "doc" object's "noautocomplete" and "nocache" properties.
