Auto Update V8

Hi
 
We have deployed Adobe Reader V8 across our company 1500 installations and have found that we need to turn the Auto Updater off as the users do not have unfettered access to the Internet, thus the updater cannot update and cripples the Pc as it uses 100% of the CPU trying to complete this task. I cant find where you switch this off?
