Is it possible to automate the "Compare Documents" feature? We'd like to invoke this feature when a new version of a document is checked in to a CMS.

Thanks,

Don't think so. The compare in Acrobat is done purly from the menu item. There's no other access so it can't be automated.

I wanted to bump this topic to refresh it in the context of Acrobat X.
Has anyone found a way to automate the compare documents functionality of Acrobat using JavaScript? Or any other means?

Thanks in advance!

It's still not possible.
The closest you can get is to compare the documents textually using a script, but that's not the same as using the built-in compare command.
