Automatically Update Form Calculations Between Pages

Acrobat 8 is not automatically updating my calculations between pages in a PDF I am working on. Only if they are on the same page do they get updated.

Is this problem resolved in 9? If not, WTF?

I'm not aware of this ever being a problem. Did you check the field calculation order?
Also, you can post the file for us to have a look at it.

Field Calculation Order. I'll have a look at that.

I only get the problem if I use the value of a calculated field in the calculation of another field. So:

Field 3 is the sum of Fields 1 and 2. Field 4 uses the value of Field 3 in another calculation entirely.

Changing Fields 1 or 2 updates Field 3. The change in Field 3 should update Field 4 (which is on a previous page), but it doesn't. If I change the calculation method in Field 4 to use Fields 1 and 2 instead of 3, changing 1 or 2 updates both 3 and 4.

Sounds like a calculation order problem.
Make sure that Field 4 is below Field 3 in the list.
