Batch feed search terms to full text index, store search results

Hi,

I have a list of 1000 search terms and a pool of PDF files. For each search term, I need a list of the files in the pool that contain the term. I have constructed a full text index of the entire pool of PDF files and can perform these searches one term at a time, capture the results from the Search window using SnagIt, and paste the results in a table.

Obviously, this will take a long time. Is there a way I can automate this activity using Javascript and the Batch function built into Acrobat? I have written some simple Javascripts in the past but I am no expert.

Thanks for any help.
