batch process to save files from acro 6 to acro 8

Good Morning all

Need some help creating a batch process. I would like to save 2000 or so pdfs in a file folder from acrobat 6 to acrobat 8. Could someone help me to create this.

You need the Professional product to perform batch processing and with that product you can create a batch process to set the parameters for the PDF Optimizer.

Currently i have acrobat 8 professinal installed. I have never myself created a batch process. So some help with the steps would be appreciative.
