Does anyone have any experience with capturing the console log and save the output to a file? Is this even possible?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.1.2, Windows

Are you referring to the Distiller console log? Or are you referring to the Console utility on the Mac?

I am hoping to be able to capture the console log form Acrobat Pro using Windows XP pro. I am not concerned with Distiller. We would like to be able to divert alert messages to the console and possibly capture the entire log for review later.

Vern,

Are you talking about the JavaScript console? The only other one is the Distiller .LOG file that is created.

Could you please clarify what tool you are using that is displaying the log information so we can see if a solution might not be had?

Thanks

-Doug

I am referring to the JavaScript console log. We would like to be able to capture the entire console log and write it to a file. We plan to update pdf's without intervention and automatically save them to a file. During the update there will be some alert messages and console.println messages. It would be important to be able to save those and view them later.
