Check Boxes not being recognized.

I've imported a Word document with 300+ check boxes into Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro and none of the check boxes are recognized. I've run the Form Field Recognition feature from Acrobat and tried Livecycle to recognize fields yet every single time, it creates a text field around the check boxes and completely ignores them. In the original document, the check boxes are located inside a table. The text field that it places is around the border of the table. How do I get Acrobat or Livecycle to recognize the check boxes?

Won't work. The form field recognition only works for text fields, and even then it's poor.

What you really need is an intelligent conversion from Word that actually uses the Word form fields. You'll need to look at 3rd party tools for this. As a matter of principal Adobe would never support this kind of functionality.
