Is there a way of adding the user name of the person filling in the form based a command that searches for the default email address of that user.

I would like to add it to an app.alert that says "Hi "User Name Here", Form is not completely filled blah blah blah.

Is this even possible?

Hi clibor,

No, you cannot. It is a security feature that PDFs cannot access a user's system without explicit permission from them.

Hope this helps,

As noted, you will have to have a special script file installed on each user's system or use a special certified version of your PDF.

You can search for the "Identity" object.

Ya...Just trying to be a little fancy with my forms but I'll just have to pass on this option. My end users will just have to live with a generic warning.

Thanks
