I have almost the same question as someon before, and Leonard answered in a way.
I have a pdf file (invoice) and in such cases I do not want to let the enduser to print the document, only read it. I can not switch off the printing possibility in the original file, because in other cases it should be printed out.
What can I do?
(Reader version 6 and 7 are used.)

Not sure about your distribution and what kind of restrictions you want to impose on what users. You could secure the file against printing and only those with the security password would be able to open the security settings to enable printing. This option of course would requie those who print the file to use Acrobat and not Reader.
