Doc to PDF

When we converting "Doc to PDF" using "Adobe PDF printer option" if the system fonts are not found then the fonts are substituted to some other fonts in the output pdf file.
So we are tried another way that is generating Doc to PRN (or) PS format then using Adobe Distiller for converting the PS to PDF file. In that case also, fonts are substituted to some other fonts in the output pdf file. How can we stop the substitution of the fonts?

Can you please advise us, is there any other option/setting for converting doc to pdf (or) ps to pdf without substitution of font?

Thanks,

Check the settings for the Fonts in you PDF printer driver properties.

Therefore click right on the "Adobe PDF" printer and select "Properties".
Go to "Layout tab" and click on "Advanced" then change setting for TrueType-Fonts to "Download as Softfont".

Also check the subtitution settings under "Adobe PDF Settings tab".
Click on "Edit" for the "Default Settings".
In the new Windows select "Fonts". Here you can controll the substitution for every single font.

Just make sure to check your setting. Probably somethings off.
