I have a script that sends the pdf form to a client and flattens the pdf automaticaly, this works perfectly but now i have been asked if it could flatten the form EXCEPT one field! In the script i have this line

this.flattenPages();

Can anyone help me add a line in to say to flatten the form except field name "Advert_text"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can't exclude a specific field with this function. You can exclude an entire page, though.
Otherwise what you can do is re-create the field after you flatten the pages (just remember to save its value in a variable BEFORE you flatten).

Thank for the reply, thats great thank you. Found a work round in the end so i can still flatten the PDF as normal.
