Is there a way to have a button "float" so that no matter which page a user navigates to, the button remains visible?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.9, Windows

Yes, what you want is a Document Toolbar. Look at the "app.addToolButton()" function in the Acrobat JavaScript Reference. Also look at [url=http://www.windjack.com/products/acrobuttons.php]AcroButtons[/url], which is a tool for creating toolbar buttons.
