generated file names for attachements

I used adobe designer 7 to create a form for a customer to fill in and submit back to me. I am looking for a way for the submitted pdf file to be named by a specific field that is in the pdf; specifically the PO number field. Thusly, naming itself PO12345.pdf

This has been asked for a lot. Unfortunately it is not yet a feature. The submitted attachment uses the file name so the workaround is to save the file to a different name before submitting. Again, unfortunately the method cannot be automated with JavaScript because it is a protected operation.

Write Adobe and tell them you want this feature. Maybe we'll get it one day.
