Hello

Does anyone know where I could get/Buy a plug in for adobe acrobat pro that allows you to EDIT or Disable the alt text that pops up up when you hover your cursor over a URL? (it shows the full URL Path) when people read your pdf file using adobe acrobat reader.

This question has been asked before, however I cant seem to find a definite answer to this question. I actually want to know WHERE I can Get or BUY something that will do this, Not just have someone tell me a plugin CAN do this, I want to know WHERE I can get it and details about it.

I would also consider paying someone to create a plug in or something that will allow me to do this.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Regards

This is a feature built into Acrobat. It's not part of the PDF and as far as I can tell there isn't a preference for it. Doesn't look like this can be done. I don't even think it could be done from a custom plug-in. Although it's possible you could preempt the default link handler, so maybe it's possible.

Thanks for the reply Thom,

Your response does make sense to me in a way.

However someone did tell me that it could be done somehow using Javascript, does this make sense to you? I have no idea how I could use Javascript to edit or hide the url that pops up as alt text, do you know how?

Thanks for your help
