Highlight a Word or a Text in PDF

I am buliding a search engine of our publications.
I have a lot of PDF and All the files are indexed with Lucene.
With my application i have created a bookmark for every PDF, and any bookmark link to a page where a word is contained

Now i want that the search term should be highlighted in the PDF.
When i click on a bookmark, a page is showed and the term is highlighted

Can i write a Javascript action to highlight the text?
If yes, then please let me know how ....
