I have been looking but I can't see any way to launch a batch sequence from a JavaScript. If that is true then bummer. If it is possible to do that then could someone tell me how to do that?

At best you could open the Batch Processing menu item but one will need to interact with the various use selecteable options for the entire batch processing.

My mistake, in version 5 one could execute the "Batch" or "BatchEdit", but Adobe has removed them from the menu items accessible by JavaScript.

That still wouldn't START the batch sequence, just bring up the dialog prompting the user.

I do not believe there is a solution.
