Javascript debugger doesnt work in Acrobat 9 pro Mac

Hi! I have enabled Javascript debugger in preferences but still as I open the debugger it says that I need to enable it? Is there any know issues with Acrobat 9 pro regarding this?

Version 9.4.6
Mac OS 10.6.8

The debugger is very buggy on the Mac. It frequently crashes Acrobat when an exception occurs. Note I'm talking about the debugger here, which is not the same as the interactive console.
