Hi. I use paper capture frequently. However i realise lately that i my adobe acrobat take a very much longer time to process compare to previously when i run paper capture on files of the same size. More than 5 minutes more compare to previous times. My memory still has alot of available memory when i check the task manager while doing the paper capture. Is there any setting that i can set on my adobe acrobat software to resolve this issue. Thks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6, Windows

If your files are indeed the same file size and number of pages, you might look at the originals and compare them to originals you captured when Capture was running faster. A cleaner original that renders fewer suspects will move faster.

You might also look at upgrading Acrobat. Acrobat 6 is based on Capture 2 technology and beginning with Acrobat 7 and later, text recognition is based on Capture 3 technology. It's a more efficient and improved OCR in version 7 and above.
