There is an appliction preference that can be set by the applicantion's user to not display the form message bar. This can not be programatically set.

Thanks very much for your quick reply. I did set/save the preference via Adobe Acrobat Pro to "always hide forms document message bar". But when I open the same PDF report via reader I still see the message bar. Is just that I am planning to email the PDF reports to individual and was trying to make the report as less populated as possible. Please is there a solution for that?

Reader and Acrobat Pro are seperate applications and as such need to have that setting in each application set seperatly.

I can set "always hide forms document message bar" on preferences to make it hide. Can set it into the PDF document with javascript ? To make it always hide as default.
