The current iFilter included with Adobe 8 does not allow Microsoft Indexing Service to index pdf packages. Are there any plans to update the ifilter to include pdf packages>

You'll have to ask Adobe support about this one. However, Adobe is tends to be very closed mouth about new features. I doubt that they'd tell you if they were going to do it. But, it's well worth complaining about it. The more people that complain, the more likely they are to make changes.
